international conference about economic stagnation, geopolitical conflicts, and environmental crises

Globalization is under pressure. The Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have intensified calls from commentators and scholars that globalization is slowing down or even regressing.

The conference explores these developments by assessing the driving forces of the crisis of globalization and analyzing the diverging trends of de- and re-globalization. It aims to bring together scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds and countries to evaluate the current state and future of globalization.
