Highly gifted minors are often streets ahead of their peers and stand out, for example, due to their large vocabulary, insatiable thirst for knowledge and excellent memory. However, in order to realise their potential, these children need individual support. A local group for parents of highly gifted children is now to be set up in Erfurt, where parents can network for the first time.
On this evening, there will be information for parents and relatives on how to recognise giftedness and how to deal with it at home, in nurseries and at school. The "German Society for the Highly Gifted Child" will also introduce itself.
