Andrew Crawford

Andrew Crawford is a doctoral candidate at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, and a Research Fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). His research focuses on development policy including microfinance, digitalization and democratization. Before becoming a part of the Willy Brandt School, Andrew studied and taught finance at Monash University, Australia before consulting on research projects in Cambodia, Mexico and Ecuador. He studied a Master of Science in Politics, Economics and Philosophy at the University of Hamburg where he wrote his thesis on the history of cash transfers. Read more about Andrew Crawford here
