Short Biography
Edris Arib is a public policy and rule of law professional with experience in international and civil society organizations. He worked as Legal Counselor for Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and International Development Law Organization (IDLO), as a Senior Legal Advisor for the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan (EUPOL) and as Policy and Advocacy Consultant for Transparency International Secretariat in Berlin.
He holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt in Germany.
Edris is a doctoral candidate at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy under the supervision of Professor Dr. Heike Grimm. His research focuses on Grand Corruption in the public sector. Edris analyzes the cases of grand corruption in the public sector across countries and regions by studying the role of political support and the Anti-corruption Agencies and systems.
