Reference collections

Professors and other academic staff of Erfurt University may set up media frequently needed for their work in a reference collection in their rooms on campus. There is no fixed lending period for these items.

The items have the status “Handapparat” on the online – catalogue. Each reference collection has its own number:

• Numbers starting from 100- (pdf)
• Numbers starting from 1000- (pdf)
• Numbers staring from 5000- (pdf)

In order to apply for a reference collection please fill in the Application form (pdf) and hand it in at the information desk.

To receive the required items please contact your Subject librarian .

The maximum number of media for reference collections is restricted to 200 for professors and 30 for other academic staff. You will receive a special library card for borrowing these titles.

If you need a book from a reference collection please contact the information desk or the holder of the reference collection directly.
