The Science Year (Wissenschaftsjahr) 2025 - Future Energy is dedicated to energy research solutions and ideas for the greatest challenges of the energy transition. To kick things off on 1 April, experts will be discussing the energy transition and sustainable technologies at Futurium Berlin. Professor Cornelia Betsch from the Institute of Planetary Health Behaviour will be taking part.

Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), leading experts from science and practice will discuss how innovative technologies and social change can advance the energy transition on 1 April in Berlin.

There will be a special focus on the role of research communication: Professor Dr Cornelia Betsch, Director of the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour, will speak on a panel about how science can contribute to the success of the energy transition together with citizens and promote acceptance of measures to tackle climate change.
