Kira Maur

Background

Kira Maur is a research associate with the Planetary Health Action Survey (PACE) project. She is interested in effective strategies that promote climate and health protection at individual, societal and political levels, and in understanding their psychological drivers and barriers.

She received her M. Sc. in Health Communication from the University of Erfurt in 2024 (Thesis: Acceptance of heat protection measures at work. The role of occupational health professionals and social norms for affective risk perception and the willingness to participate in heat protection training at work) and her B. Sc. in Health Promotion from the University of Applied Sciences Fulda in 2020 (Thesis: To what extent are health-related lessons implemented at the curricular level in both primary and secondary schools? An analysis of the status quo in the federal states of Hamburg, Hesse and Thuringia).
