Roundtable by the research group PROAC: "Where is academic freedom now? University life in times of global insecurity"

The event hosted by the research group "Protecting Academia at Risk" (PROAC) aims to bring an international concern on the rise of academic unfreedom to the Romanian public, as populist and illiberal movements have issued fresh attacks on academic freedom and independent spaces of knowledge.

The event is organised by the university network CIVICA - The European University of Social Sciences at the Random House bookstore (Strada Vasile Lascăr 69, București 030167, Romania).

Guests: Assoc. Professor Dina Gusejnova (London School of Economics), Professor Andrea Peto (Central European University), Professor Bernhard Kleeberg (University of Erfurt), Dr Nadiya Kiss (Gerda Henkel Fellow, University of Erfurt).
