Doctoral scholarship at the Theological Research Centre advertised

The Theological Research Centre at the University of Erfurt is offering a doctoral scholarship as part of the European Graduate School (EGS) "Theology in religious, cultural and political Processes of Transformation" from 1 January 2025. Applications can be submitted until 30 September 2024.

The EGS at the Theological Research Centre gets together theological research and graduate services from three European universities – Erfurt, Salzburg and Leuven – both thematically and structurally.

The scholarship programme is aimed in particular at students under the age of 30. It is open to people of all Christian denominations from Germany and abroad and is intended to support the completion of a doctorate (Dr. theol. or Dr. phil.) at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Erfurt.

The scholarship is awarded for a period of 36 months. Renewals are not possible. Full membership of the graduate centre t³ is a prerequisite for receiving the scholarship. The monthly grant amounts to 1,500 euros. In addition, a family allowance of 300 euros is granted for each dependent child.
