University of Erfurt once again offers doctoral scholarships

As of 1 January 2025, the University of Erfurt will once again be awarding scholarships for doctoral projects as part of the Christoph Martin Wieland Graduate Forum in the structured Erfurt Doctoral and Postdoctoral Programme (EPPP) of the certified graduate centres and the Max-Weber-Kolleg. Applications are possible from 1 August to 30 September 2024.

The financial support of 1,400 euros per month is for three years. It can be extended for a further year. In addition, afamily allowance of 300 euros for one child and 150 euros for each additional child is granted.

The University of Erfurt offers its scholarship holders, among other things

  • support and start-up formats
  • for research and networking;
  • an Academic Skills Training;
  • platforms for communicating their own research (Erfurt Science Slam, Long Night of Sciences, etc.).

By the way:

To accompany the call for applications, there will be an online consultation hour every Thursday at 1 p.m. from 1 August (until 26 September), during which interested parties can obtain information from the Research and Graduate Services department and ask questions. The WebEx link to the consultation hour will then also be published on the call website.
