Diversity competence training for early-stage researchers

As part of the Academic Career and Qualification Programme, the University of Erfurt is offering a diversity skills training course for doctoral students and postdocs on May 25, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm. The course takes place online, course language is German. Interested parties can register until May 16.

The training is about dealing with the topic of diversity in higher education, reflecting on one's own ways of thinking and behaving, and gathering impulses for successfully dealing with the challenges of diversity in everyday university life. The trainers are Florence Schmalz and Nadja Grzesik, academic employees at the Department of Intercultural Business Communication at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and in the project "Weltoffen miteinander arbeiten. In Thüringen."

The training is offered on the occasion of the Diversity Days 2022, which will take place at Thuringian universities from May 16 to June 3, 2022.
