Panel discussion on 35 years of peaceful revolution - visions of future democracy with the Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern European Affairs, Carsten Schneider, organised by the Point Alpha Research Institute e. V. (PARI) together with the University of Erfurt.

35 years after the Peaceful Revolution, the event will explore the prospects for new visions of a sustainable democracy. Together with Professor Christiane Kuller (Erfurt), Professor Claudia Wiesner (Fulda) and Professor Philipp Gassert (Mannheim), Minister of State Carsten Schneider will discuss stories of democratisation, the challenges of today's multi-crises and the importance of a common German-German history of transformation.
