Dr. Anna-Maija Mertens

Short Biography
Dr. Anna-Maija Mertensis a political scientist with a focus on European politics. Since December 2014 she has been the Executive Director of Transparency International Germany e. V. Previously, she was Head of the Finnish Institute in Germany identifying and initiating new fields of cooperation between Germany and Finland.
Dr. Mertens holds an MA (with a major in Political Science and minors in Economics and History) and a Dr. Phil. from the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität Münster.
