Digital participation is becoming increasingly important for social participation. Digital Day is a nationwide day of action that takes place every year in June. With numerous local and online events, digitalisation can be experienced.

The Gotha Research Library at the University of Erfurt is once again taking part in the nationwide Digital Day on 27 June, presenting its cooperative, collection-related digital strategy and the central tasks and processes of the digitisation process. In addition, the digitisation, presentation and research of Gotha literature in various online portals are the focus of the 1250th anniversary of the city of Gotha.
