Final assignments

If you are interested in the supervision of your final assignment by our chair, please note that the support of BA-theses is high in demand. Thus, an early contact and a discussion of the idea of the topic with the supervisor are essential and strongly advised. Contact should therefore be made until the 1^st April (for registration for the summer semester) or until the 1^st October (for registration for the winter semester).

Own ideas of topic are explicitly desirable, but have to fit the research focus of the supervisor. Information regarding the design of a BA-thesis and finding a topic can be found in the guidelines for the preparation of scientific papers at the Chair of Organization and Management. After narrowing down the topic for the first time, you will be asked to write a short exposé (1-2 pages) on your own which will draft the subject and the proposed outline of your research in more detail. It should give a brief description of the problem, the aim and the implementation of your idea; it should also contain a listing of relevant literature.

The topic of your BA-thesis will be finalized and given out based on this exposé.

After you have been granted the support of your BA-thesis, you will have to register for the corresponding module of the respective semester on time.

For the issue of the topic of your BA-thesis, you will need the completed form application for the issue of the topic of the bachelor thesis in the program BA-Economics, Law and Social Sciences in duplicate. The binding registration is completed after the completed form has been handed in and has been signed by the supervisor. One copy will remain with the supervisor, whereas you will receive the other copy. From the moment the topic is issued you will have 7.5 weeks to complete your final assignment.

The supervision of MA-theses at the Chair of Organization and Management are carried out by the chairholder only. If you wish to be supervised, please contact Prof. Dr. Talaulicar in a timely manner. Please inform yourself about the deadlines and the process of issuing the topic of the master’s thesis in the examination requirements.
