Sophia Hoffmann serves as associate editor of the leading IR journal, the European Journal of International Relations (impact factor 3.4). Editor in chief is Professor Oliver Kessler, also of University of Erfurt. The journal receives about 450 submissions per year, which are reviewed by a 5-member international editorial team.
