From 29th-30th of June the VRÜ/WCL Annual Conference 2023 will take place Nürnberg - a two-day event featuring panels and keynote speeches on pressing issues in international law! From private actors and human rights experts to challenges of democratic constitutionalism and authoritarianism. The distinguished panelists and keynote speakers will provide critical insights and engage in thought-provoking discussions on the most pressing issues of our time. On the first day, you will hear from experts in private actors and human rights, as well as comparative approaches to international law, followed by a keynote speech on comparative human rights law. On the second day, we will focus on challenges to liberal/democratic constitutionalism and authoritarianism, with case studies from Brazil, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and India. It’s a great opportunity to network with scholars and practitioners in the field of international law and comparative constitutionalism, and gain valuable insights on the latest trends and developments in the field.
