The degree programmes will be presented at various stands and in lectures. The programme also includes laboratory, campus and library tours as well as short taster lectures. The general student advice and counselling service will also be there, as will student university groups and the student union with tips on housing and financing. And if you want to get to know Erfurt in all its diversity, you can also take part in a free city tour on this day.
The doors of all three campuses of Erfurt University of Applied Sciences will be open to prospective students on Open Day. Students from the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at Schlüterstraße 1 and the greenhouse and landscape teaching park of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Forestry at Leipziger Straße 77 can be viewed. In addition, all faculties, central institutions such as the Student Council or the International Office as well as selected dual study partners will be presenting themselves at the main campus at Altonaer Straße 25, where UAS President Professor Frank Setzer will open the Open Day at 10 a.m.
On 4 May, the University of Erfurt will also provide information for the first time about a new dual study programme for the teaching profession at secondary schools. It is due to start in the 2024/25 winter semester. And it is adding another offer to the Open Day: During the Discovery Days from 10 to 14 June, prospective students can attend selected lectures and seminars on campus. The main aim is not to understand the subject matter, but rather to gain an impression of what it means to "study".
Further information and the Open Day programme can be found at www.hit-erfurt.de (in German only).
