Short biography
Since March 2021, Paul Witzenhausen has been working on his doctorate at the Center for Political Practices and Orders (C2PO) with Prof. Kessler on topics of decolonization and knowledge production of statehood in Africa on the basis of the Christoph Martin Wieland Scholarship of the University of Erfurt.
Until 2018, he studied International Relations and Philosophy (BA) at the University of Erfurt with a stay abroad at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In parallel, Mr. Witzenhausen became a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Kessler.
Subsequently, he obtained the MSc International Relations Theory at the LSE London School of Economics.
During his studies, Mr. Witzenhausen was supported by the German National Academic Foundation and the DAAD.
