About the series

This semester, the KLIMA network for more sustainability in Thuringia, in which the University of Erfurt is also involved, is once again offering a public lecture series on the topic of sustainability. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend. Admission is free.

The lecture series deals with ecological challenges such as climate change, the energy transition, land consumption, sustainable forestry and the loss of biodiversity. It also touches on issues such as global conflicts over sustainability, the link between democracy and education for sustainable development, sustainable corporate management, the concept of growth, the possibility of regional economic cycles or state financing of the necessary transformation process.

The event series is organised by Professor Dr Matthias Gather (Erfurt University of Applied Sciences) in cooperation with the KLIMA network for more sustainability in Thuringia, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The event will also be broadcast via Webex.
