Artificial intelligence is increasingly finding its way into social work – from automated case management systems to preventive analyses of social problems. But what does an algorithm recognise that remains hidden from humans? And where do the limits of AI lie? The lecture by Professor Gisa Stich from the International University of Cooperative Education (iba) highlights the potential and risks of this technological development and explores the question of how social work can fulfil its professional and ethical responsibility to critically monitor and help shape the digital transformation. A practical and at the same time reflective look at the future of human-algorithm interaction.
The other dates of the AI lecture series in the summer semester can be found on our event poster (in German only).
