lecture for children and young people (aged 11 and over) as part of the joint lecture series organised by the city of Erfurt and Erfurt's universities in the summer semester of 2025

Artificial intelligence is fascinating. But is it a miracle or black magic? In any case, it makes us sit up and take notice. What is AI? What can it do and where do we encounter it? What does it mean for children and young people? Will it drive our cars, control our thinking and rule our world? In this interactive lecture by Professor Oksana Arnold, young listeners experience AI up close. They will explore fundamental concepts of AI through playful applications. And they will get a feel for how AI can inspire our lives, but also where we should not be ‘seduced’.

The other dates of the AI lecture series in the summer semester can be found on our event poster (in German only).
