Podcast production room of the Language Centre

Have you always wanted to use podcasts as a medium for seminars or courses, but have always lacked a room or the appropriate technology? Does a podcast project with your students sound interesting? Then why not book the podcast production room provided by the Language Centre with the support of the University Computer and Media Center (URMZ)'s media technology department and create your own project!

From 1 December 2024, employees of the University of Erfurt will have the opportunity to use room 2.12 in the KIZ. Entire podcasts, individual episodes or other audio recordings with up to four speakers can be recorded using professional microphones and a mixing console. The recording technology is optimised for the room conditions and is easy to use. The employees only need their own micro SD card to save the recording. There is no computer in the production room to avoid possible interference. It is therefore only possible to edit the recording using your own laptop.
