Placement test

Students with previous knowledge of Italian must take a written and oral placement test. This only takes place once a year during the Student Orientation Days in October. Students register by email and then receive an invitation from Dr Sara Campi

Lingua Italiana (A1) Parte 1 e Parte 2

This course is intended for participants who have no or very little previous knowledge of Italian and prepares students of the University of Erfurt for level A1.

This course is intended for participants who have a basic knowledge of Italian and prepares students of the University of Erfurt for level A2.

This course is intended for participants who have a good basic knowledge of Italian and prepares students of the University of Erfurt for level B1.

This course is intended for participants who have a good knowledge of Italian and prepares students of the University of Erfurt for level B1/B2.

Level tests

The Italian courses at the Language Centre of the University of Erfurt prepare students for the level examinations (A2, B1 and B2). The C1 examination can be taken by arrangement.

Level examinations are based on theCommon European Framework of Referencefor Languages (CEFR).

In this context, we would also like to draw your attention to the possibilities offered by the self-study centre, where students can use the appropriate learning software to close gaps in their knowledge, watch Italian-language films or borrow Italian-language reading material.
