In addition to brief inputs from academics and journalists, this event will focus in particular on exchanging views on the experiences that academics at the university have had so far with communicating their own research to the scientific community, but also to society at large.
The following people will be present with a short input before the discussion opens:
Beatrice Lugger (National Institute for Research Communication)
Dr Dominique-Marcel Kosack (Faculty of Catholic Theology)
Professor Andreas Goldthau (Willy Brandt School of Public Policy)
Professor Julia Knop (Faculty of Catholic Theology)
Melanie Haack (Head of the ZDF regional studio in Thuringia)
Professor Thorsten Thiel (Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences)
Professor Christiane Kuller (Faculty of Philosophy)
Professor André Brodocz, Vice President for Research and Academic Careers, will moderate the discussion. The discussion will be followed by a get-together in the foyer of the research building. If you would like to attend, you can register until 20 October.
