Under the title "Opportunities and Risks of Artificial Intelligence", Erfurt's universities, in cooperation with the City of Erfurt, are inviting all interested parties to a joint lecture series for the first time in the summer semester of 2024. Speakers from the University of Erfurt, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, iba – Internationale Berufsakademie, the International University (IU) and the HMU – Health Medical University will shed light on various aspects of AI from different scientific perspectives.

The dates are 9/23/30 April, 7/14/21 May and 4/11 June from 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm in the city hall (Rathausfestsaal). The series of events will conclude in autumn with a panel discussion at which representatives of the universities will discuss with guests the role that AI already plays in research and teaching. Please see our poster for the detailed programme (in German only).

Admission to the respective lectures is free. Please note, however, that the number of seats is limited to 180.
