The low carbon transition throws up geopolitical challenges for the EU

During his intervention at the 3-day COST Spring School organized by TU Darmstadt, Professor Andreas Goldthau called on the EU to rethink and broaden its foreign policy toolbox.

 He was joined by Andriss Piebalgs, former EU Energy Commissioner, Kirsten Westphal, SWP Berlin, Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, Hydrogen Europe who shared their views on “EU External Energy Policy-Hydrogen Governance in the EU. Between internal business cycles and international value-added chains”.
