Already today, we would like to draw your attention to the annual exhibition taking place in this context, which will be on display in the Spiegelsaal (Hall of Mirrors) at Friedenstein Castle from 10 April to 19 June. It tells the story(s) of Gotha's book and library history over four centuries. The anniversary catalogue with contributions from the library will be published to accompany the exhibition. On 13 July, the Friends of the Research Library invite you to the next talk in the series "I unpack my library". The Argentinean author Alberto Manguel, who is best known for his books "The Library at Night" and "A History of Curiosity", will be the guest. The final event will take place on 14 October in the Spiegelsaal. In addition, conferences and workshops will be devoted to "book movements". The series "Gotha Manuscript Talks" and "Gotha Library Talks" will also be continued. All interested parties are cordially invited to these events.
