Procedure of the elections

The FSR elections and the by-elections of the FSR Psychology and the 26th Student Council of the University of Erfurt will take place from 20 January 2025 (13:00) to 24 January 2025 (13:00) as an internet-based online election (electronic election) with the option of voting by letter. The counting will take place on 24.01.2025 from 1 p.m. open to the university public in the consultation room of the KIZ (C21 Centre for Communication and Information (KIZ), Max-Weber-Allee 2, 99089 Erfurt). The election results will be announced on 28 January 2025 at the latest.

Election proposals can be submitted informally or using the forms to be signed by hand by email from the University email address to stura.wahl@unierfurt.de, by post or by dropping them in the Student Council's letterbox by 23 December 2024 at 4 pm. By way of derogation, nominations for the by-elections to the Student Council and the Psychology Student Council must be submitted by 4 p.m. on 6 January 2025. An election proposal must include the surname, first name, the e-mail address assigned by the university and, in the case of elections to the Student Council, the constituency in which the right to stand as a candidate is to be exercised. Only nominations submitted on time and in full can be considered.

All eligible voters can make use of the option of postal voting if they submit a personally signed application to the election officer by 6 January 2025 for the postal voting documents to be sent or handed out. The postal voting documents must be received by the electoral officer by 24 January 2025 (1 p.m.) at the latest.
