Social Policy and Social Affairs

The tasks of the Social Affairs Department include the promotion and implementation of social projects on campus. In addition, the department is responsible for advising students, e.g. it can arrange contacts in case of problems in the organization of studies, help with the application for BAföG and advise on questions of long-term study fees or examination regulations.

The department also attaches particular importance to the topic of "studying with children". For this reason, it strives to offer a constant range of services and is available for counseling sessions at any time. It is in close contact with the Equal Opportunity and Family Office of the University of Erfurt, which also deals with the social concerns of students.
