Performative works for silent reliving and active participation

"The Outlines of Control. Performance, Participation, Perception" is the title of an exhibition that students from the subject area Arts at the University of Erfurt will be showing from 11 January to 2 March at the "Waidspeicher" gallery in the "Zum Güldenen Krönbacken" cultural centre. The vernissage will take place on Friday, 10 January, at 5 pm.

In this exhibition, documented performative works and actions by the students invite visitors to quietly relive and actively participate. On various dates, visitors can also experience live performances on site. The programme is complemented by improvisations by professional dancers and musicians. And if watching is not enough for you, you can test your own limits in a performance workshop by Pedro Henrique Risse. He is a performance artist and university lecturer for performance courses at the University of Erfurt and artistic head of the exhibition and its accompanying programme.
