"35 Years of Peaceful Revolution – Visions of Future Democracy"

"35 Years of Peaceful Revolution – Visions of Future Democracy" is the title of a panel discussion with the Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany, Carsten Schneider, to which the Point Alpha Research Institute (PARI), together with the University of Erfurt, cordially invites all interested parties next Wednesday, 13 November. The event will begin at 6 pm in the Little Synagogue in Erfurt. Admission is free.

35 years after the so called “Peaceful Revolution” in Germany, the event will explore the prospects for new visions of a sustainable democracy. Together with Professor Christiane Kuller (Erfurt), Professor Claudia Wiesner (Fulda) and Professor Philipp Gassert (Mannheim), Minister of State Carsten Schneider will discuss stories of democratisation, the challenges of today's multi-crises and the importance of a common German-German history of transformation.

Admission to this event is free. However, registration is requested by e-mail: info@pari-geisa.org.
